- We make our sessions fun and relaxed so that you can focus on each other more than our cameras.
- After carrying five kids, I'm very familiar with what it's like to be pregnant. I can make location recommendations based on your unique needs as a mother-to-be.
- You get two photographers instead of just one! Joseph and I work together in order to give you a wide variety of traditional posed photos, fun casual poses, and heartwarming candids.
- We give you tips and tricks in order for your maternity portrait session to go as smoothly as possible.
- We have a changing tent for outfit changes if needed.

When is the best time to schedule my maternity portrait session?
Typically we hold maternity sessions when our mothers-to-be are between 32-36 weeks along. That's usually far along enough that you are showing, but not so far along that it's starting to feel uncomfortable to walk around. Every pregnancy is different though. Let us know what works best for you.
What should we wear?
We want you to absolutely love your photos so we give you style and color tips based on the location and time of year of your portrait session.
Where should we go for our session?
Utah has an incredibly diverse landscape! There are mountains, deserts, lakes, parks, and more. There are also several beautiful indoor locations around town. Best of all, most locations take less than an hour to get to! We've shot at numerous locations in Salt Lake, Utah County, and beyond so we can recommend the perfect location for your maternity portrait session and the time of year!
I feel pretty awkward when I have my picture taken. Is that ok?
That's completely fine! Most of our clients say that they feel awkward in front of the camera. We make our portrait sessions fun and relaxed so that you can feel free to enjoy being with your family. We focus a lot on casual shots and candids, but when we do pose you, we will walk you through it step by step. You're going to be great!
When will we receive our photos?
Your photos will be processed and uploaded to a private online gallery within 4 weeks of your session. We can edit several photos right away if you would like some prints made for your baby shower.
Do you offer newborn sessions?
Yes! We offer lifestyle newborn sessions. Lifestyle newborn photos have a much more natural feel to them than traditional newborn photos. They feature not only your baby, but also the joy and love you feel as new parents. Lifestyle newborn sessions can be done in the comfort of your home or a studio. Let us know if you would like more information.
